Empty beauty products . Good till the very last drop?
6 Empty beauty products. Are any worthy of a repurchase?
This was such an easy blog post to put together! I think that if anyone uses a product to the very last drop, that says a lot about the product. Because if you don’t like something you either throw it away, give it away, or try to take it back – but you don’t finish it.
I’ve listed 6 products in this post that I used up till they were completely empty, however, that doesn’t mean that I will be repurchasing them all again. Why? Well, keep on scrolling, and I’ll tell you why.
⊗ Never Again ⊗
Phyto-Active Daily Facial Cleansing Cream | Glo Skin Beauty
This 6.7 oz bottle is a whopping $46. Seriously, $46 for a cleanser. No. That’s the main reason I will not be repurchasing this bottle. *Full disclosure – Influenster gifted me two bottles of this product, so I never actually paid for this initially. After using this facial cleanser that I got for free, I won’t be going out of my way to buy one on my own. I just can’t justify spending $46 on a cleanser, especially because I don’t have any serious skin issues that warrants a specific type of cleanser.
- If you don’t mind the price, try it! This a very good product.
- A good size bottle – this can last you a long time.
- A slight scent – not too overwhelming
- Sleek & Chic bottle
- A ‘nickel’ size amount of cleanser is that is needed. Trust me, a little goes a long way.
- Nice creamy texture.
- Leaves my skin feeling clean (Does the job)
- My skin did not have any negative reactions to this cleanser
- Con: There are too many good, affordable products on the market. I like to use a Neutrogena $8 cleanser for sensitive skin that lasts me a long time.
- Con: I used all the product till the bottle was empty, quality cleanser, but too pricey.

Shiseido Benefiance Pure Retinol Express Smoothing Eye Mask
This is my favorite eye mask of all time. LOVE. I don’t use them all the time. They are my ‘go to’ secret weapon when my skin looks lifeless. For example, let’s just say I don’t have a good nights rest, but I have to go to a wedding or birthday party, BAM! I use one of these babies. My skin always looks fabulous after I use them, and I look more awake in the eye area. I always have these in my beauty cabinet at all times, always.
- Semi-affordable: 12 packets come in a box for $65. Which means that a single pack is a little over $5, not too bad. Also, at Ulta you can get smaller boxes that include like only two packs, which is convenient if you wanna try them out and see if they work for you.
- They work.
- They are not messy.
- I can see immediate results after a single use.
- Perfect for a special occassion.
- No negative skin reaction – I have ultra sensitive skin & this just works perfect for me.
- No scent.
- Easy to use
- Compact & portable – amazing for vacation trips & when you wanna look picture perfect.
- Love. Love. Love!!!
- Skin is left radiant for makeup application
- No Cons…obviously 🙂
Btw, I recommend to buy a small box from Ulta for only $17.50 before you purchase & invest in the $65 box, just in case, try it out and see how you like it.

Control Corrective Oil Free Sunscreen SPF 30
This will be my 3rd purchase of this sunscreen (empty white product pictured above) I love this sunscreen, and it’s my daily facial sunscreen that I use under my makeup. It’s perfect for me because I use it as my daily lotion also. It’s my sunscreen, and my daily lotion that looks perfect under my makeup. I have had no negative side effects with this product, and I’ve go no interest in using any other sunscreen. I’m a creature of habit, if it works, I don’t go looking for other products. Unless I’m gifted some other sunscreen, that’s the only way I’ll deviate from this one. This is my staple sunscreen.
- Works perfect under my makeup.
- Not greasy
- No scent
- Perfect daily lotion as well
- Great protection
- A little goes a long way. This product lasts a long time. One bottle usually lasts me about 6 months.
- Con: Not super affordable – $38 (read below)
- Con: You can only order it online. You can’t find it at Ulta, Sephora or in your local department stores.
- Con: $10 Shipping Costs & $2.76 Tax = $50.76 total 🙁
- Con: Only standard shipping is offered, so, it takes FOREVER to get it in the mail.
~ But I’m too lazy to go looking for another sunscreen, and this works great for me, so I’m gonna keep on purchasing it.

Clinique Even better brightening Moisture Mask
So let me just start off by saying that I think this Clinique face mask is discontinued. OMG! Seriously, this product lasted me over a year. It lasted me so long I didn’t realized that they discontinued it. I liked it because it was lightweight moisturizer, and affordable, it was under $30. Loved this product.
- Lightweight, but super effective moisturizing mask
- No scent
- Effective
- Affordable
- Con: Discontinued.
~ Well, when I find another moisture mask that compares, I’ll let y’all know 🙂
