Sephora Face Masks

The SEPHORA Collection: Face Masks
These masks weren’t horrible nor impressive. I wanted to love these so bad, but I don’t. They were ill fitting, and uncomfortably close to my lash line, the eye and mouth holes were too small as well.
They were overly saturated with product, and my skin felt sticky afterwards, not refreshed. I ended up having blemishes and breakouts all over my face after using all four masks, possibly due to the ingredients that create the scents in these beauty products.
My makeup didn’t look good on top of the product that was left on my face after using the mask. I had to wash off the residue and then put my makeup on all over again.
Unfortunately, The Sephora Face Masks are not skincare game-changers for me. Sephora Face Masks are affordable, just so-so face masks. I don’t care how affordable these face masks are, or how cute their packaging is, I will never purchase these again.
If you have no major skincare issues then maybe you’ll enjoy using these masks. After all, we all react differently to products, what may not work for me, might possibly work great for you.
These affordable, fun packaged beauty products can be great stocking stuffers, sleepover treats for preteen girls, college gals, and for women on a budget.
CNP Tip: I kept these masks in the fridge, this makes them feel so refreshing

Skincare
- Pearl Face Mask: Very light scent to this pearl face mask, it didn’t bother me, and I don’t like scented products. It wasn’t a pleasant scent and it wasn’t unpleasant, it was just…meh. These face masks were overly saturated with product. My face didn’t look brighter or perfect afterwards as claimed by Sephora. It did moisturize but my face felt sticky after. The sticky sensation never went away until I washed it off. Also, the product didn’t sink in to my face entirely, so when I used another serum on top of it, it got all clumped up and messy.
CNP Tip: Take the packaging with the leftover serum and place it in a ziplock bag, this way you can use it the next day

Self-Care
- Pineapple Face Mask: Delicious scent. It wasn’t even a strong scent, just a subtle yummy pineapple smell. Again, it left my skin sticky not refreshed. I didn’t notice a single benefit after using this particular mask. As stated above, after using all these masks I acquired major blemishes all over my face. I’m sure my overly sensitive skin did not react well to the chemicals that were used to create the pineapple scent.

- Coconut Face Mask: Again, this mask smelled delicious. Cocolicious. But whatever ingredients are used to create these enticing scents are also what caused my skin to breakout. I immediately washed my face after using this mask, had to get rid of that sticky sensation asap. My face didn’t look any better after using this face mask.

- Green Tea Face Mask: HEAVY SCENT! It was a nice scent, but way too heavy. It was like I had perfume on my face. Also, because of the chemicals used to produce the scent, the product burned/irritated my eyes. It left a sticky sensation on my face. Oddly, this was not my favorite one out of the bunch, but my skin looked brighter afterward.
