New Chic CHANEL Instagram Beauty Account: @WELOVECOCO
I was invited to a chic CHANEL event in West Hollywood, CA. I’m a major CHANEL fan, so this was a dream come true. I loved that it was on Sunset Blvd. The weather was perfect and the crowd was filled with other fellow chic CHANEL enthusiasts.
What was the purpose of this shindig? Have you ever created a flatlay with CHANEL beauty products or have you done a tutorial using their products? And then what do you do? You tag CHANEL, right? But CHANEL is not going to post our content on their posh Instagram feed. But guess what? Now you can tag @welovecoco or use the #welovecoco hash tag and CHANEL might highlight your content on their new @WELOVECOCO Instagram account. This new IG account was created so they can share beauty content from beauty enthusiasts.
That’s what this soiree was all about, it was a celebration of the launch of the new @welovecoco IG account for CHANEL. Sadly, it was only for four days, it’s gone now *sad face emoji* Incase you weren’t able to attend this beauty gala enjoy my pictures below, and you’ll feel like you were actually there.
Dressed To Kill For CHANEL
I had butterflies in my stomach when we drove past the long lines in front of the CHANEL beauty house on Sunset Blvd. The women there were dressed to kill. I would have just been satisfied taking pictures of all the fabulous outfits. I saw a lot of glamorous influencers. I felt like Joan Rivers at the Oscars, I wanted to ask everyone, “Who are you wearing?” Obviously, a lot of the stylish women there were wearing their best CHANEL pieces.
CHANEL Hospitality
The lines were long, but we didn’t wait longer than 30 minutes. Also, refreshments were dispersed to everyone, which was a nice and thoughtful touch. The employees passed out strawberry popsicles, they were delicious. As we entered through the door there was gentleman handing out little CHANEL water bottles. Every single staff member there was nice and professional.
Surreal CHANEL beauty event
CROWDED. It felt like every influencer in Los Angeles was there. I stayed long enough to look around, take some pictures, and then I left.
The building was too small, too crowded, poor ventilation, and the whole setup was unorganized. CHANEL should have only invited the most influential beauty influencers, it would have been more intimate and swanky. Like a real ‘couture’ CHANEL experience, but then, I would have never been invited ~ lol, I’m well aware that I’m still a little fish in the blogging/influencer world.
Do I regret going? Not at all. We paid $10 for parking, so that basically paid for a new experience and a blog post and some IG worthy pictures. Also, it was surreal, like a CHANEL/DISNEYLAND experience.
The Purpose of this CHANEL Beauty House was to:
- Celebrate the launch of CHANEL’S new @welovecoco IG account
- Inspire content creators
- Immerse beauty influencers into CHANEL’S lip colors
There were little CHANEL huts that had employees applying lipstick to the attendees. Once you applied your lipstick you could get a picture taken of your new CHANEL lips in their photo booth.
Picture Perfect CHANEL Rooms
The majority of the rooms I toured were all Instagram worthy. It was fun to be surrounded by so many other like minded individuals, we were all taking selfies and pictures, and no one was judging.
Every fashionista there was taking stylish selfies.
