LASHFOOD
Influenster gave me a Posh voxbox for free for testing purposes. In this box of goodies I received,
Lashfood’s Aqua Brow Powder + Pencil Duo, aka:
Browfood
This post will consist of a review of this $25 product, and to let you know if it was a hit or miss for me.
Ok. So. Right off the bat let me tell you this product was a fail for me.
⊗ FAIL ⊗
Why?

5 REASONS WHY BROWFOOD FROM LASHFOOD DIDN’T WORK FOR ME:
- Powdery product left a messy residue all over my face.
- Didn’t go from powdery to creamy.
- Cheap, flimsy pencil applicator.
- No built-in brush?
- No seamless application.
In the image below, can you see all the residue on the rose petal? Well, that’s exactly what my cheeks looked like when I applied Lashfood’s Browfood on my eyebrows. I was annoyed because I had already applied an entire face of makeup, and it was ruined because of this messy powder↓
Sorry, Lashfood, this is not a revolutionary and effortless product.
Also, Lashfood claims that this is a cool-to-touch brow product? Nope, I didn’t notice it. I would be more impressed with this claim if it were a foundation or cream, a substance that would cover my entire face. You know? Like, how much of a cooling sensation can you actually feel on your eyebrow area.
I’m not saying that there is no cool-to-touch sensation. I’m just stating that I didn’t notice it…at all.
No. This product did not go from powdery to creamy. It stayed powdery to messy.
Also, Browfood in general felt cheap. Seriously, Lashfood will charge $25 on their website for this inferior product. PLUS, $5.99 for basic shipping. What? So, Lashfood wants you to believe this tiny, basic beauty tool is worth $31. Seriously, $31. NO! There are so many eyebrow products on the market to choose from, this one sadly can’t compete.
The pencil applicator was wobbly, and the entire plastic appearance didn’t impress me at all.
Oh, I do have one little positive mention: the box it came in was nice looking.
Another thing I’d like to mention is that I felt like it was missing a brush applicator.
On one end, there is a cushion like tip that is used to apply powder on to your eyebrows. On the other end, there is a pencil like tip that is supposed to be used to outline the shape of your brows. But no little brush to blend it all in to your eyebrows?
When I used this for the first time I wasn’t anywhere near my brush set, so I had to get out of my groove and go fetch my brush so I could blend this product into my eyebrow. Come on, Lashfood. For $31 you could have included a tiny little brush, or configured it into the applicator somehow.
Can you feel my frustration? I wanted to like this product because I don’t want to be wasteful. Anything that gets sent to me I want to use, because I am so very grateful, but this one is going to get tossed…immediately. There just was no seamless application, it was an annoying experience. I’m relieved I didn’t have to waste my money to figure this out.
Save your money! Pass on Lashfood’s Aqua Brow Powder + Pencil Duo ~ Browfood.
I’m glad I received this product for free from Influenster for testing purposes, but I would never go out of my way to pay $31 for it.
