My official purse for Spring and Summer and like, forever, is Staud’s Mini Shirley Bag. I guess I’ll be using this bag until it falls apart, seriously, that’s how much I love it.
The handles on this bag are pink leather. The pouch inside the bag is leather as well. The plastic is sturdy and well made. I think the mini size is the ideal size (for me atleast). I ordered the larger size or the tote of this exact same bag and I did not like it at all, so I returned it. The larger bag was just too big and inconvenient for me. The plastic sides scratched my arms as I reached into the larger bag. I don’t have the same problem with with the smaller purse.
The mini size is $195, but I got my bag on sale. Look out for the deals, and you’ll be able to get this bag for a lower price.
We all know that PVC bags or plastic clear bags are all the rage right now. Honestly, I didn’t really like the trend when it first came out. I hated the idea of Chanel or Fendi selling a $3,000.00 bag made out of plastic. But I love this affordable, trendy, pink bag.
I think the only down side of this purse is that the plastic scratches easy and the plastic smudges too. Also, I’m sure the handles will get dirty easy. The purse was packaged well by Staud, it came with three dust bags, and it was in immaculate condition. If you’ve ever considered purchasing a bag from Staud, then you should. I know eventually I’ll purchase another bag from them.
To add a little bit of a personal touch I added a Kate Spade Butterfly key chain at the end of the zipper on the pink leather pouch. It just made my bag look whimsical and chic.
