Let’s Go Shopping: A Drugstore Beauty Haul
WALGREENS: A Drugstore Beauty Haul
I love shopping at my local drugstore. I often go there in the middle of the week, during the day, when everyone is at work, so I can slowly and peacefully peruse the beauty section.
Drugstore Beauty Products
I’m a low-end, high-end kinda gal. I can go crazy at a bougie department store, or at Sephora/Ulta, but I also adore affordable beauty products. It’s comforting to know I won’t break the bank when I find stuff that I love at my local drugstore.
HAUL
In the pics above, we are shopping in my local Walgreens. I didn’t take too many pics of the inside, there were a lot of employees stocking items and I felt silly snapping pics in front of them.
Now, in the pics below we are going to do the actual haul in my car.
🎶 🍫 ☕ :
☕ ☕ ☕ Dutch Bros Coffee order – Medium Cold Brew Caramelizer with soft top 🤤
🍫 🍫 🍫 CLIFF BAR White Chocolate Macadamia Nut – I swear this bar paired with my coffee, oh my gosh, delish.
🎵🎶 🎵🎶 🎵🎶 MUSIC – 1| Big Energy: Latto ( This was my song of the summer)
2| Tennessee Whiskey: Chris Stapleton (Love, love this song)
3| Love You Madly: Cake
4| Ultimate: Sno Tha Product (Sno is 🔥 right now)
Skincare | Hair | Accessories
- OLAY REGENERIST NIGHT RECOVERY NIGHT CREAM – $29.99 | This is an awesome and affordable fragrance-free product. I like to use it all over my face and décolletage in the fall and winter. I can use a lot of this every night and I don’t worry about the price. I really do like this moisturizer and I will continue to purchase it. It contains great ingredients like green tea, niacinamide, peptides, Vitamin B3, and Vitamin B5.
- SOPHIA JOY CONAIR MAKEUP BAG – $9.00 | I like the pink and green palm leaf design, reminds me of The Beverly Hills Hotel. I picked up this affordable and chic compact organizer to keep in my car’s center console. It fits perfect there and I keep it filled with some essentials.
- MINI WET DETANGLER HAIR BRUSH – $6.00 | I bought this brush because it is small and I will keep one in my car’s center console and in my purse. Just a great on-the-go little brush.
- SCUNCI, NO SLIP GRIP HAIR CLIP – $5.00 | Because a gal can never have too many hair clips. This is just a convenient way to throw my hair up real quick.
- TANGLE TEEZER The Ultimate Detangler – $15.00 | I use this brush on damp hair, pretty much after I shower. It’s gentle on my hair. I like it.
- SCUNCI VELVET SCRUNCHIES, 3CT – $5.00 | These scrunchie colors screamed fall, so I had to get them. They’re soft and velvety and comfortable.
Beauty Must-Haves
- NEXXUS COLOR ASSURE SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER – $19 each | Yeah, not super thrilled about the price, but so far these are working out good. They are gentle and effective. I’m always exploring different shampoos and conditioners. I don’t really have a brand that I’m devoted to yet. I think you can buy this brand cheaper at Walmart.
- SECRET Powder Fresh mini Antiperspirant – $2.00 | This is not my every day deodorant, but I needed a small on-the-go product to have with me.
- L. Fragrance Free pH Balanced Wipes – $6.00 | Because you always gotta stay fresh! Ya feel me. I always have some type of wipes in the bathroom. I NEVER just wipe with toilet paper and go, especially if I “really” used the restroom. Gotta stay super clean, don’t want no UTI.
NAIL ESSENTIALS
- SALLY HANSEN Instant Cuticle Remover – $5.00 | I use this before I push down my cuticles. I don’t think it completely removes my cuticles, but just softens them up. I just keep it in my beauty stash all the time.
- NAIL MAGIC Cuticle Oil – $6.00 | Meh…not impressed. But I needed a cuticle oil. I put cuticle oil on every single night after my hand cream. I’ll look for a better one in the future.
- SALLY HANSEN Shooting Star Insta Dri Nail Polish – $5.29 | I thought this color looked neutral and pretty. I’ll wear this shade when I’m too lazy to apply a more bright or darker nail polish. This one is easy to apply and looks clean.
- SALLY HANSEN Pomegratitude Nail Polish – $7.50 | I liked this shade because it felt like fall. I still haven’t tried it yet. Ugh, regardless, I always stock up on nail polishes every time I go to the drugstore because I don’t get my nails professionally done. I stock up on nail products and accessories because I give myself my own manicures. I do get my pedicures done at the salon, because I don’t have the patience to give myself a proper pedi.
- CINA Nail Creations, Clean-Up Brush Tool – $11.50 | I’m going to use this brush to clean up excess nail polish along the edges of my cuticles and nails during my manicures. I have not used this yet, so I don’t know how well it works.
